Some people leave high school in the rearview mirror and never look back, but not PlayStation 4 owners. Enough of them were drawn in by Persona 5's unique mix of adolescent interaction and RPG fantasy battles to make it the most downloaded game of April on PlayStaiton Network.
The RPG released to widespread critical acclaim, which no doubt helped sales. Our own Joe Juba gave the game a 9.25/10, saying "you become a resident of Persona 5 the more you play it, and it has the rare ability to transport in a way few games can."
The rest of the top five downloads isn't surprising, with mainstays like Grand Theft Auto V, Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection, The Last of Us Remastered, and MLB 17 The Show rounding out the field. You can see the rest of the list here.
Typically thought of as an underground cult favorite, it's nice to see Persona get the attention it deserves from PS4 owners.
