Resident Evil 7 is out now, and despite the mystery that surrounded it prerelease, it marks a return to form for the series – albeit one with a shift in perspective. Capcom has announced the first real details about the game's upcoming DLC, too, the first of which is coming to PlayStation 4 next week.
Banned Footage Vol. 1 is arriving on PlayStation 4 on January 31, and other platforms on February 21. It's $9.99, or available at no additional cost if you sprung for the game's deluxe edition or its season pass. Here's what's included, straight from Capcom:
Bedroom: Figure out how to escape from a locked room – but don't let Marguerite Baker know you've been out of bed.
Nightmare: Fend off waves of enemies and survive until morning.
Extra Mode – Ethan Must Die: A tough-as-nails mode separate from the tapes and story of the main game. (Does not support PSVR)
Banned Footage Vol. 2 is coming to PS4 on February 14 and on other platforms on February 21. It will cost $14.99 if you don't have the season pass or the game's deluxe edition. Here's what it includes:
21: Gamble life and limb in a deadly game run by Lucas Baker.
Daughters: See what the Baker family was like before the tragic events of Resident Evil 7 Biohazard.
Extra Mode – Jack's 55th Birthday: Race against the clock and feed Jack tons of food in this comical extra game mode separate from the tapes and story of the main game. (Does not support PSVR)
